Route to La Maliciosa peak from La Barranca
The route from La Barranca to the peak of La Maliciosa is a demanding but spectacular hike for mountain hiking lovers. With an approximate distance of 10-12 km round trip, it presents a considerable elevation gain (+1,000 m), crossing rocky paths and steep sections. The ascent offers impressive views of the valley and the Sierra de Guadarrama, culminating in one of the most iconic peaks of Madrid. Difficulty level: high. Requires good physical preparation and appropriate footwear, but the reward at the summit is worth it.
